The challenging\u00a0climb\u00a0of 2,100\u00a0meters\u00a0is developed\u00a0from an altitude\u00a0of 800\u00a0meters, to reach\u00a0the highest point\u00a0at 1730\u00a0meters,\u00a0on top of Mount\u00a0Ventasso,\u00a0from which\u00a0the eye\u00a0can embrace\u00a0the whole Apennine\u00a0Reggiano,\u00a0the Parmesan,\u00a0and the ridge\u00a0that\u00a0separates\u00a0from Tuscany and from the\u00a0Lunigiana. The marathon is mostly on unpaved roads; however, it is fully safe and does not include exposed or dangerous routes.\u00a0The route alternates between chesnut woods, beeches, and higher in altitude, moorland. It passes by villages made of stone, small chapels hidden in the woods, fresh springs, and a lake filled with turquoise water, around which the route runs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For several\u00a0years now,\u00a0the second\u00a0Sunday of\u00a0July\u00a0represents\u00a0a fixed appointment\u00a0at Busana, in the high\u00a0Reggiano\u00a0Apennines, for all lovers\u00a0of marathons amidst nature: the Ventasso Ecomarathon,a race unique in its kind for that strange balance that has been created around itself, mystically managing to combine sport, athletic performance, amateur spirit, solidarity, commitment\u00a0to the promotion\u00a0of the territory, volunteer work,\u00a0\u00a0and a immesurable desire to return\u00a0and\u00a0to find youself.A grand race,\u00a0so to speak, but\u00a0one tobe run\u00a0on the trails\u00a0surrounding Mount\u00a0Ventasso, a place of\u00a0ancient\u00a0legends,\u00a0where\u00a0the wolf\u00a0is back\u00a0home.<\/p>

A dream thought of by a few, a couple years ago, became a challenge and, is now the biggest sporting event of the high Reggiano Apennines, which attracts famous Italian and foreign runners, as well as many ordinary runners who are the real heart of the event.
It took courage to think of organizing a marathon rectory, with its 43 Km on a path so rough and wild, but the gamble paid off.
Today the Ventasso Ecomarathon is known throughout Italy as one of the best sports events involving running through nature and its name is now associated with an image of great value.
The Ventasso Ecomarathon represents today, for all lovers of the race trail, the event which has greatly contributed to the increasing popularity of the race through nature in Italy.

REGULATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The Comitato Ecomaratona del Ventasso n is organizing the 18th Ecomaratona of Ventasso. The departure is scheduled on Sunday July 9th, 2023 at 8.30 AM on Place Don Trentino Simonazzi in Busana di Ventasso (ZIP 42032) – Reggio Emilia.<\/span><\/p>

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

All athletes must be at least 20 years old as of July 9th, 2023.<\/span><\/p>

ATHLETES LIVING ABROAD:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

1. Athletes enrolled with Foreign Athletics Federation affiliated to the IAAF in 2023:<\/span><\/p>

Fill out the registration form indicating the card number.
Send a front-back copy of the card valid as of July 9th, 2023.
2. Athletes WHO ARE NOT enrolled with Foreign Athletics Federation affiliated to the IAAF in 2023:<\/span><\/p>

Fill out the registration form indicating “no membership”.
Send, completed in its entirety, signed and stamped by the doctor, the healt form provided by the organization.<\/span><\/p>

The registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances.<\/span><\/p>

PICK UP OF RACE NUMBERS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The numbers can be obtained at the Marathon Center\/Expo on:
Saturday, July 8 from 4:00\u00a0p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 9 from 7:00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m.<\/span><\/p>

The number is strictly personal and not transferable.<\/span><\/p>

Run start is scheduled for 8.30 a.m. Sunday<\/span><\/p>

TIME LIMIT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Fir each race there is a specific time limit. All informationa are available on the official regulation (in italian version)<\/span><\/p>

AWARDS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The award cerimony will be on-site, at the arrival area. The first 3 men and 3 women will be given awards.
The first three athletes within each UISP category will be mailed a special award.<\/span><\/p>

DISQUALIFICATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The members of the judging committee reserves the right to disqualify, even at the end of the race, all those who have behaved in a manner deemed improper, and against fair play<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0RIGHT OF PICTURE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

By subscribing to Ecomaratona del Ventasso, the athlete authorizes the organization, together with sponsors and media partners, the use of still or moving images that may show him while participating the\u00a0 Ecomaratona del Ventasso or related events, on all types of media, including advertising materials and \/ or promotional purposes without territorial or time limits.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY ‘<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The athlete, through its registration in the Ecomaratona del Ventasso, hereby accept the provisions of the rules published on the site www.ecomaratonadelventasso.it. For everything not covered by regulations, please refer to the General Rules of the road races \u2013 Fidal.
The runner also declares under his own responsibility, not only to have declared the truth (art. 2 Act as amended from 04\/01\/1968 n.15 ‘art. 3 paragraph 10 l aw 15\/05\/1997 n.127) , but to exempt the organizers from any liability, whether civil or criminal, for damages to persons and \/ or property caused by him or his products.
The athlete claims to voluntarily partecipate to the Ecomaratona del Ventasso and assumes all risks arising from his\/her participation.<\/span><\/p>

The personal data provided to the organization through the registration will be used, under D.lg 196\/03, to form the list of participants, the ranking for the services stated in the Regulation and to send promotional materials and \/ or information from the organization and its partners.
